Unfortunately this topic cannot be explained in few lines, sorry for the text wall.
While this topic might look very weird since is posted from someone who have raided many people on the server (if you are a raider please share your thoughts on this topic,even by alternative forum account), this rule should be forced to be applied and i will explain the reasons why.I will go in detail what changes have been applied to make raiding an enemy base almost impossible (well except if you turn off your safezone and at same time one pro raider jump in your location and at same time you don’t jump away for a weird reason) and then how admins reacts against “raiding acts” with facts and by my personal experience all this 9 months here and finally the “why” it should be banned or forbidden entirely. I will state that in all raiding cases, NO rules have been broken or exploits/bugs were used or abused, this is very important.

First, because many people confusing raiding and pvp, its a totally diffent thing. Raiding can be defined as this:
“Raiding is an attempt to attack an enemy main base with goal to loot and grind all his assets or a part of it”.You like it or hate it, i don’t judge, but raiding is a part of vanilla game clearly. Its not the result of exploits or bugs. If you want to call it like this then it can be officially forbidden as the title says and everyone moves forward and accept it.And also solve the problem (if it is), once and for all.

Ways that someone could raid an enemy safezone and gameplay changes against raiding since April and how could have be countered instead of fixing this,by the player it self.I will note that most of those methods have been given warnings to players by the official site/forum and other players, especially safezone setting warnings and tips.None of them are working now, don’t try it 🙂

-Method: Energy drain shuts safezone. It could happen if a player forgot building safezone setting or had blocks extended more than 5 blocks away from bubble.
-Solution: Don’t forget safezone settings when you go for sleep and don’t build outside your safezone.

-Method: Use nanite against a small safezone (larger safezones weren’t not affected) if building is enabled.
-Solution: Don’t forget your safezone settings.

-Method: Use nanite (after above fix), to guess the enemy base color(???) and if building was enabled on safezone.
-Solution: Again don’t forget your safezone settings.

-Method: Use projector and welders/grinders to grind down enemy safezone if again guess what building/grinding/welding forgot. Not sure how it works, but after someone used this, the reset settings plugin was installed which made safezones almost unraidable.
-Solution: Guess what…

-Method: Build if blocks extended 5 meters away from safezone a merge block and if grid of base is small you can convert and steal it,if big not possible anyways.Now the range of invulnerability of blocks extended outside, are virtually infinit. (Moji’s cage?)
-Solution: Don’t build outside your safezone.

-Method: Wait for safezone to be expired if player goes away for long time.We are on the era of almost impossible to raid .Then a safezone block that can be filled with 10 weeks of safezone introduced and the immortal safezones are here. That means your safezone will survive without your presence not 1 week but even 2.Then it will be deleted by the server so it will not be even scavenged.
-Solution: Login every 6 days.
Those are all the gameplay changes that forced into server to make raid almost impossible. So is raiding officially allowed? The answer now is yes and no.But why the rule should be forced after all of this? There is an another reason also. The admins of the server they hate raiding acts. This is noticeable how they react when someone raids someone else. I have seen admins talking or take actions against other raiders in real time for various reasons. If you don’t want raids to happen guys, this is acceptable and respected, but the rule should be applied and make things clear.
Also i will share my worst raiding and unlucky moments on this server. Names for various reasons will stay hidden. Hope you enjoy the stories…

Case No.1
Six months ago, one of the most rich bases on server is scouted by me and after 10 days by extreme luck i found his safezone down. So i start my raiding attempt with the help of a friend. The base was huuuge and heavily armed so lot of work needed to be done, plus 2 adv armed ships was also shooting. After a while a player of this faction comes online and starts taking actions to defend his base, like shooting us, securing things, trying to move the base away etc while we were trying to raid whatever we could and stop him at same time. One of the best gameplay experiences of my gaming career actually xD. After a while a second member comes online and with the help of one admin he deletes everything in front of our eyes (!!!). How rich was the base you will wonder. Around 7-8 million from each mk component and 135k Adv Processors and an unknown amount of pirate components/diamonds on a hidden safelocker. Screenshot of loot will not be posted publicly because of respect for the player.
I will note that at this moment my base was at ADV1 tier, so raiding this base was feeling like raiding Fort Knox itself. So base got deleted and restored next day.What possible could have been done by the side of defenders? Just use a jump drive and the party is over and accepted or proposing a diplomatic solution or call friends for help. And this was proven true because after few days i talked with the guy i raided and he told me that in other circuimstances a diplomatic solution could have been possible (like a deal, take some resources and don’t raid me further, which i did also in future with other players that requested that).We shaked hands and move forward. Probably this was the biggest raid in the history of the server and suddenly an admin decides to ruin everything with his response. Bye bye 135k Adv.Processors or any other loot xD. And the excuse was that the safezone was down because of a bug. Then i ask again, why raiding is not forbidden yet if a raid is defined as a bug situation?

Case No.2
The era from the old server move to the new is here. We decided to move slowly and prepare our assets for move to the new server, leave few things behind in case a base is left behind to be scavenged. Raiding again is almost impossible, so chances are very bad anyways. Again by extreme luck we found a not much interesting base, and we decided to take a look. Safezone was down entirely so we thought its just expired. And what we found under the metal walls was not 1, not 2 but 34.000 Rebel components (!?!?!?). Guess what happens next: One faction member comes online, he calls an admin for help (instead try a diplomatic solution lets say) and the admin comes in a rage mode and deletes everything: enemy base, raiding ships, raiding hauler ship…. everything!!! The excuse? Not raiding was allowed on the old server(???) .Rules were applied after the “f@ck you” moment, so raid was legit and no rules or exploits were abused. This doesn’t justify even with so many security settings against raiding, to be bad at protecting your base and have your safezone disabled for any reason. No bugs, no exploits.
He restored enemy grids of course, which he had the right to do, i will not judge about it. While after tons of arguements for this response he told us to restore our grids that got deleted. My ship more specific was an adv3 ship that was modified with another 10k processors for the needs of the raid,1h before the delete. That means ships wasn’t saved at the time of delete (the expensive version) , so i just refused for it to be restored since it would be just pointless. And of course we lost 34k rc, second most profitable raid i encountered till now goes ruined because an admin decided to go full f@ck you rage mode.

So, in conclusion, i request this rule to be applied officially, since the team behind the server makes everything to make raids impossible, and if by extreme luck you find a base to raid, if player is online he will request help from an admin, that means in best scenario his base will be deleted and restored and worst case your ships will be deleted too. I will not mention how much it will ruin your gameplay experience and the loot that you will lose if you are a raider. It feels like playing against admins. Its not problem not be allowed to raid really. I am always following rules and gameplay changes even if i don’t like it. If raid its not accepted i will respect it and accept it. But this admin response is just wrong…. very wrong…. So this needs to be officially clear that raid is forbidden on this server and if raiding is really a problem, this way should be fixed once and for all….
