A few things:
- I am a SE noob. I have no problem with that because there are areas in which I am a pro. But in SE I’m a noob.
- Noobs have the right not to know everything and to make mistakes.
- Server administration should protect new players from serious errors, in particular from being used by other players.
There are server policies for that. A new player entering the server should read the rules and follow them. I did it.
The rules clearly state what you need to do to be safe in safezone:
“To be perfectly safe, turn off all settings except shooting for optimal safety.”
That’s all. There is nothing else about the SZ.
Just like you wrote. I was warned by you. As I wrote, I understood that it was about the protruding connectors. This is a common mistake:
@Dountoun is a Community manager yes?
How can you require from noob knowledge that Team member does not have.
“Using exploits - Forbidden.”
Definition of exploits (from wiki):
“In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, speed or level design etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game’s designers. Exploits have been classified as a form of cheating; ”
Answer honestly. Was it the intention of the creator of the SZ for anyone can turn it off with a protruding armor block?
You think that’s what the SZ created for?
This is a classic exploit. Everyone knows that.
The problem is simple. This has been happening on the server for a long time. Now it is impossible to admit to being wrong. Such a trap. Advanced players wins, noobs lose.
I don’t want to be misunderstood.
This server is technically perfect. TIM does a great job. Everyone who has played on other servers knows this.
But the administration and rules … “could be much better.”
Disabling someone else’s SZ is a cheating.
Sorry for the text wall, but that’s your topic 🙂.
Besides, I read your wall.
